The celebration continues…

I was a perfect blend of questioning, learning, discussions, fun, frolic and festivity. I had promised you four days of quintessential celebration of innovation and boy did I deliver. The plethora of events with each of them having lots to learn from, ensured that everyone was actively participating in and enjoying the fest. The extravaganza, that’s me, witnessed some of the most entertaining and enlightening lectures both at the lecture series and industrial conclave. What with greats like Lyn Evans- project leader at LHC, Jonar Nader interacting with the crowd telling them how to become successful leaders, Leila Janah showing how fulfilling it is to run a social business and many more, I definitely was privileged to host the best set of speakers.
The management module had people with the best of business strategies and acumen engage in a battle of wits to conquer and achieve glories in the very challenging management module events.
The Robotics module witnessed an awesome display of technical talent. With some of the finest bots battling it out in the carefully designed arenas – the event saw some very close and nail – biting finishes.
The best way to learn is to enjoy doing it, and I realized that perfectly well. Events like funniche gave the crowd a perfect opportunity to relax while at the same time sharpening their responses and gaming skills. The nights had the crowd just lay back and enjoy some of the best of technologies and entertaining performances. Be it the musical nights of Kaash and Aagaman, or the 3D wall projections which had everyone amazed seeing an entire hostel dance to tunes or the highly impressive, creative and wonderful story-telling of one of the finest sand artists, Ronny Chibber – the enthralling nights ensured you unwind after exercising your grey cells throughout the day.
We, the Techniche family, would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have supported us in making this event a huge success and helping us take it to the a great heights.
Now as I look back, I am very delighted and satisfied with what I had to offer to all of you and I, Techniche ’11, promise you that I will be back, bigger and better next year to once again entertain and enthral you, to take you on a journey of learning and fun. We, the Techniche family at IIT Guwahati, have already started working ever so enthusiastically to ensure you all an experience you shall savour for a lifetime.
